analysis: The basic pattern is that Microsoft is eating itself from the inside because their fundamental business model is entrenched in their software architecture. In order to really fix the severe security issues in Explorer and Windows they must violate their business model, and its obvious that they can’t do that. The result is that they root from the inside instead.
